Lt. Col. Jim and Dr. Theresa Mulloy Texan Corps of Cadets Scholarship

This scholarship will be given to 1) a member of the Tarleton State University Corps of Cadets located in Stephenville, Texas, in good standing, pursuing a degree from Tarleton State University. Recipients must be an under-served students seeking a commission in the Army, Marines or Air Force. 2) Preference may be given to 1st generation students, students coming from an underserved population, and/or students who have overcome obstacles such as socio-economic struggles or other adversity. 3) If no cadet is eligible for the scholarship under para III (b) 1 and 2 above, then the scholarship will be given to a student who has been accepted into the Tarleton Nursing Program. 4) Students who are participating in the PSA (Program for System Admission) Program are not eligible. The donors’ intent is for this award to be used by students planning to graduate from Tarleton State University. 5) Nominees will be interviewed by a representative of the Corps of Cadets staff and the donor and/or representative prior to final selection of recipients. 6) Cadets agree to furnish to the interviewers the GPA, grades per semester, status in the Corps and/or ROTC & contact information upon consideration each semester.
