Walter George

The Drucilla Eberhart George Memorial Scholarship was established in 1990 by Mr. Walter George of Coleman, Texas in memory of his wife. Mrs. George attended John Tarleton College and graduated with honors. In 1935, she earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas in Austin. She went on to earn a Master’s degree from the University of Texas in 1946, and later fulfilled all requirements for certification as an educational counselor.
