Mrs. Violet Terrell

The J.V. and Lillie Ruth Laird Scholarship was established in 1976. This scholarship was created in memory of Mr. J.V. Laird. In 1987, the scholarship was changed to the J.V. and Lillie Ruth Laird Scholarship by the request of their sons John and David Laird after the death of Mrs. Laird. Recipients of this scholarship must be majoring in Horticulture or a related field and demonstrate high academic achievement and participation.
