Mrs. Mildred Thormann

The Thormann Endowed Scholarship in Nursing was established in 2000 by Mrs. Mildred Thormann of Lipan, Texas. Mrs. Thormann passed away in August 2010. The scholarship is awarded to a student who is pursuing a degree in Nursing.

The Loy Patton Scholarship was also established by Mrs. Mildred Thormann, LVN of the Tri-County program. Ms. Loy Patton was a nurse in Erath County for many years and served as director of the LVN program at Harris Methodist Hospital in Stephenville. This scholarship was established to benefit a deserving student who is pursuing a degree in nursing.
