Mrs. Earl Rudder

The Earl Rudder Endowed Scholarship was established in 1970 by Mrs. Earl Rudder to honor her husband. Mr. Rudder was a coach at Tarleton from 1938-1941, and went on to become the President of Texas A&M University, and Chancellor of the Texas
A&M System. Mr. Rudder was honored by the Tarleton Alumni Association during Homecoming of 1992, and given the Distinguished Alumnus award.
