Mr. Vernon "Pete" Jenkins

The Pauline “Polly” Jenkins Memorial Scholarship was Established in August 1991 by Mr. Vernon “Pete” Jenkins of Hico, in memory of his wife. Mrs. Jenkins was born and raised in Hico along with three brothers and one sister. She graduated from high school in 1932. She served at the Hico City Hospital as a LVN for more than twenty years. Mr. & Mrs. Jenkins raised registered Aberdeen Angus near Hico.
