Mr. Richard Phillips

The Evelyn Floyd. & Leslie Jennings Scholarship was established in 1980 by Mr. Richard Phillips, a representative of the Jennings family. Leslie Jennings attended Tarleton State University and was a member of the basketball and football teams. In 1980, Mr. Jennings was inducted in the Athletics Hall of Fame. Mrs. Jennings, class of 1926, majored in Elementary Education at Tarleton. Her interests included soil preservation and erosion. This scholarship is awarded to deserving students majoring in agriculture or a related field.
