Mr. & Mrs. C. Robert Palmer

The John D. & Alene Moorman Palmer Endowed Scholarship was established in 2000 by Mr. and Mrs. C. Robert Palmer of Houston in honor of his parents. Mr. and Mrs. John Palmer were 1929 graduates of John Tarleton Agricultural College. Both served on the J-TAC staff. Mrs. Palmer was feature editor for the 1929 Grassburr and Mr. Palmer was First Sergeant in the 1929 Non-Commissioned Officers Club. The scholarship is awarded to deserving students majoring in elementary or secondary education, and/or elementary administration
