Family of Zeddie and Ruby Edgar

The Zeddie and Ruby Edgar Memorial Scholarship was established in 1993 by the Edgar family in memory of Mr. Edgar, who passed away in June 1993 at the age of 87. In his 43-year career at Tarleton, Mr. Edgar taught thousands of students in a wide variety of business courses. Because of his long association with Tarleton and because of his strong beliefs in the value of education and hard work, his family established the Zeddie C. Edgar Memorial Scholarship in Business Administration so that deserving students might receive the benefits of a higher education. Mrs. Edgar passed away December 12, 1995 and her name was added to the scholarship fund.
