Family of Barbara Jeanne Adams

The Barbara Jeanne Adams Endowed Scholarship was established in 2007 in her memory. Mrs. Adams’ teaching career spanned 40 years, teaching elementary school through high school in addition to teaching music at all levels in Texas and Florida. The scholarship is awarded as a first preference to a graduate of Motley County I.S.D., Patton Springs I.S.D., or a high school in Dickens County. Barbara Jeanne Adams was the mother of Vickie Swam, retired employee of Tarleton State University.
