Estate of Mrs. Dimple Obedia Tunnell

The Dimple Obedia Tunnell Scholarship was established in 2001 through the estate of Mrs. Tunnell, who worked for many years in the Tarleton Dining Hall as a cook beginning in 1958. She retired in 1974 at the age of 70. She and her husband had
no children of their own, but took in many students. She passed away July 27, 1999. This scholarship is for students in need, studying in the fields of nursing or any medical related field.
