Dr. James Boyd

The Dr. James Boyd Memorial Scholarship was Established in 1989 by Dr. Jim Boyd, this scholarship was created to promote instructional leadership in public schools of Texas. The scholarship is awarded to a graduate student pursuing a degree in
education, a professional certificate, or a professional development experience. Originally named to honor his mother, Sally Boyd, the endowment’s name was changed following his death and is to honor his legacy in education.
