Dr. Barry B. Thompson

The Dr. Barry B. Thompson Theatre Scholarship was established while Dr. Barry B. Thompson served as the 13th President of Tarleton State University. In 1994, Dr. Thompson was appointed as Chancellor of The Texas A&M System, a position he served in until his retirement in 1999. Dr. Thompson had a great love for Tarleton and the students of Tarleton. Recipients must be a deserving student with outstanding theatre performance.
