Cynthia Carter

The Arthur J. and Beatrice Robinson Carter Endowed Nursing Scholarship was established as two separate endowments in 2010 and 2009, respectively by Cynthia Carter in memory of her father and mother, and combined into one endowment in 2012, this scholarship is awarded to a nursing major from the McLennan County area. Arthur Carter was a Waco native, married Beatrice Robinson in November 1966, and had one child, Cynthia Carter, MBA, Ph.D. Arthur and Beatrice loved serving the church and the community and gave in many ways. Creating this scholarship in their memory pays their generosity forward by assisting deserving students.
