Col. Ray and Pat Yantis

The Col. Ray and Pat Yantis ROTC Endowed Scholarship was established in 2010 by Col. Ray Yantis. This scholarship was created to benefit students participating in the ROTC program at Tarleton. Col. Yantis was a highly decorated World War II veteran. Among his many honors, he received a Purple Heart, the Silver Star, and the Bronze Star for his service in the U.S. Army. He graduated from Tarleton in 1940 with a degree in engineering. Col. Yantis passed away in February 2011.
