Anne Meacham
The Truby Glasscock Endowed Scholarship was Established in 2002 by his daughter, Mrs. Anne Meacham. Mr. Glasscock was born in 1902 in Bell County. He began farming at the age of 16. He lived and farmed southeast of Troy from 1928 to 1968. In
the early 1940’s, Glasscock helped organize the Bell County Jersey Cattle Club. He also served as President and Director of the Bell County Farm Bureau. In 1957, he was named Top Farmer of the Year by the Central Texas Soil Conservation District. He was a conservationist, farmer, rancher, and dairyman in Bell County for most of his life. Mr. Glasscock passed away in 1988 at the age of 85. The scholarship is awarded to a student who is a graduate of Troy High School or Temple High School
